Brewing filter, also called brewing filter basket or brewing wire mesh filter, is an important component in brewing beers, wines and other juicy beverages. It is made of all stainless steel materials including woven wire mesh and other required accessories. This can ensure the strong and durable structure. In addition, the brewing filter can be made into different shapes, diameters, height and styles to fit more applications and brewing kettles.

Bazooka screen

Bazooka screen, made of heavy duty 800 micron 304 stainless steel, makes an ideal hop strainer in your boil kettle. It can separate your wort from your grain during lautering and sparging. Kettle brewing screen features welded 1/2" NPT fitting at the top and a welded bottom. Brewing filter is widely used for straining hops in a boil or for use in mash tun instead of using a false bottom.

Hop spider

Hop spider, also called hop filter, beer wort cup, wort scoop cup and hop basket. It is made of 100% 304 stainless steel available in 300 or 400 micron. It is a device sitting in the brewing kettle and brewing tun to keep the hops contained during the brewing process. The hop spider is also customized for coffee and tea. Hop spider has two hangers on the side. And one of the hangers spans all diameters of the filter for easy removing the filter from the brewing kettle.

Kettle brewing filter

Kettle brewing filter is also made of 100% 304 stainless steel. It is made into circular table shape. It features heavy duty 300 micron stainless steel woven wire mesh screen on the side and bottom. Besides, there is an outside hook on the side of the kettle brewing filter. It is also built to fit inside a beer keg and to contain hops during brewing process.

Mesh strainer

Mesh strainer is a cylindrical shape filter element for the brewing process. It has large containing capacity for grains, hops and other materials. It has four hooks outside the four edges of the mesh strainer for keeping mesh strainer in the center of a brewing kettle. A handle is attached to the mesh strainer through drill holes at the edge of the strainer. This design makes it easy to remove the mesh strainer from the brewing kettle.

Brewing filter basket

Unlike the above types of brewing filters, which are suspended on the brewing kettle, the brewing filter basket is set in the brewing kettle. Additional, it has a large capacity for hops and other materials. Brewing filter basket has an equal or slightly higher height than the brewing kettle. The brewing filter basket is also made of stainless steel, which ensures excellent corrosion, chemical and rust resistance performance. Reinforced side bars and rubber feet can be customized to meet clients' requirements.

Dry hopper

Like other brewing filters, dry hopper is made of all stainless steel materials. It has two main parts: a woven wire mesh body and a perforated metal top. The 2" high perforated metal top is threaded into the woven wire mesh and allows you to add dry hops and any other ingredients to your corny kettle. The hooks on the perforated top make it easy to lift and lay down the dry hopper into the kettle.
